16 second delay 16 Second Digital Delay...

After being inundated with requests to reissue this classic, Electro Harmonix has unveiled the new and - yes - improved 16 Second Delay. The modern version has been designed to expand upon the wide range of effects available from the legendary early-'80s design, and Electro Harmonix has begun shipping them on a Limited Production basis.

The Delay controls allow a range of up to 4 minutes (the original accommodated - you guessed it -16 seconds) and allows pitch shifting of the looped signal, with or without a change in duration. On top of that, it retains the original's double and half speed playback options with half-tone increments for finer control. Modulation (speed and depth) allow subtle chorusing, wobbly vibrato, flanging, and just plain insane oscillating effects.  The mixer section provides the ability to balance effect and dry signals, input gain, a "clix" control for tempo, and feedback for multiple delays or more intense modulation effects.  An entire loop can be played backwards by switching the forward/reverse control, and MIDI out allows synchronization with other devices.

The 16 Second Digital Delay is a great live or studio loop machine, a fully-tweakable echo box, and a completely unique way to get a wide range of sounds, from subtle to completely over-the-top.  Get one before they go out of production - again!
