Number 009 in our specially-made Fender Custom Shop series that we've been having built for us over the past five years. A knockout replica built by John Cruz, one of the the most sought-after Master builders at Fender, of an original 1953 Fender Telecaster. Two-piece ultra-lightweight swamp ash body, beautifully bookmatched; original-style 1950's Telecaster pickups, custom wound; "Full-V" 1950's neck contour with modern 9.5" fingerboard radius for easy playing, with medium-jumbo frets; beautifully quarter-sawn neck with genuine bone nut; masterfully done heavy relic job on the overall finish by The Master himself, John Cruz. Special neck plate engraved "CUSTOM MADE / FOR / MATT UMANOV / GUITARS / MU009". A spectacular, very special Fender in the finest sense. Comes with two hard shell cases; one vintage-style, one modern.
