1930s Gibson LC "Century Of Progress" Fingerboard

1930s Gibson LC "Century Of Progress" Fingerboard

I have no idea where this came from but it just turned up in a carton that’s been in storage and unopened here since at least the 1970s, possibly the 1960s.  Real, genuine, complete Pearloid-covered fingerboard from a 1930s Gibson LC “Century of Progress" guitar with 24-3/4” scale and 1-7/8” nut width. Original Pearloid overlay with Brazilian rosewood blocks inlaid at appropriate frets, each block inlaid with mother-of-pearl diamonds. A few inlays missing but these are commonly available or certainly a cinch to make. Frets virtually unplayed with literally zero fret wear. I cannot imagine another original one of these being available anywhere; extremely rare. $250 as is
