Used Morgan Monroe Rocky Top Bass

Used Morgan Monroe Rocky Top Bass

Ever seen one like this before? No? Well I haven’t either and it is WAY cool. Styled after the world-famous Gibson pre-war F-5 mandolins, and it’s a bass!  It is named after the state song of Tennessee, "Rocky Top", which was written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, who also wrote so many of the Everly Brothers hits such as Bye, Bye, Love. This bass is a Bluegrass special and a great bass in anyone’s band, for any kind of music you like, and it’s a looker! Full hollow body with real F-holes, 19 frets clear with 24 frets overall; you just can’t miss with this ultra-cool, oh-so unique bass. In beautiful condition, all set up for real easy playing and with the controls and jack right where you want ‘em. Even comes with a Gibson scroll-mandolin-style braided strap! Who thinks this stuff up? Your first and prolly only chance to own one of these, especially in such nice condition and with a hard shell case too, for only $495 w/hsc
