1963 Guild S-100

1963 Guild S-100

What were these guys thinking??? We have here one of the most unusual, wildest, solidbody electric guitar features of all time, the “kickstand" in the back of only a very few of the earliest Guild S-100 Polara models. Flip it out, stand your guitar up all by itself; snap it back in, it disappears. Amazing! Needless to say they didn’t keep that feature for long, but it sure is cool! So….. A coupla unique, super-hot original single coil pickups; snazzy tremolo tailpiece like no other; bridge saddles individually adjustable for intonation, cleverly circumventing Gibson’s patent; and a great clear red finish unique to and found only on the earliest Guild guitars. What more could you possibly want? An original hard shell case is what, which this appears to be. Oh, and original frets in good condition and its original Grover G-98 tuning machines, so often pirated but still 100% here on this fabulous vintage Guild. Take it home, only $1895 w/hsc
