2011 Taylor GA3-12
Taylor 12-string guitars are considered to be the best in the world and I believe it, 100%. When Bob Taylor started out as a fledgling guitar maker his very first project was what this GA-12 model would eventually become. The original aim of 12-string guitars, back around 1910 or so, was to emulate the sound of a piano, with clear highs and lows and plenty of strength. Towards that end a large, jumbo-style body is wanted, along with a fine spruce top and genuine mahogany back and sides to give it clarity, and that is exactly what we have here. This Taylor is in marvelous condition, barely a scratch on it and only the tiniest bit of fret wear. No cracks, no repairs ever needed. The action is of a height to give you good clean playing and excellent clarity for all of its notes, and it sounds as big and bold and as clean as you’d want any 12-string guitar to sound. And bonus……It’s got Taylor’s proprietary pickup system, the best in the entire business, already in it so you can go directly in, anywhere. Comes with the famous Taylor hard shell case, which they make themselves to their own high standards. Can’t beat this deal at only $1295 w/ohsc.
