Those of you who are into the master-builder archtop guitar world know Bob Benedetto quite well. He has been building top-quality jazz guitars since 1968 and is known the world over. This Cremona Model, made by Bob in 1990, is prime. With its spectacular flamed-maple back, sides, and neck and tightly-grained carved spruce top, it is a prime example of the master’s art. The fingerboard, bridge and tailpiece are of course of the finest ebony and the “Cremona” logo is engraved into mother-of-pearl on the peghead. With the guitar comes a signed bill of sale for it from a former owner for $25,000 and a signed letter from Bob Benedetto stating that this is the exact Benedetto Cremona guitar featured in Tom Van Hoose’s well-known book "The Gibson Super 400; Art of The Fine Guitar”, photo on Plate 23. A copy of the book is included with the guitar. There is a slight back-bow to the neck which will need to be taken care of by your local trusted luthier. Returns

All purchases made from this website - as well as any made via phone orders - are granted a 24-hour approval period. If you decide not to keep the merchandise you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. When we receive the item back in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase less original shipping cost outbound.
