The 1960s! Those oh-so-great, unique, Gibson steel-string acoustic guitars of the era! How many of us were there, or wish we'd been there, and would like to capture or re-capture a piece of those glorious days? Well here's your chance, a teriffic, seen-it-all 1967 Gibson Hummingbird showing off its pedigree and proudly so. Still got it all too, including its Brazilian rosewood fingerboard combined with that only-Gibson-did-it-right adjustable bridge with white saddle (some people swear by the tone of these), gold-plated Gibson DeLuxe tuners, and those uniquely Gibson super-fast frets. Proof of this Gibson’s having been played, and played, is in the evidence of the enthusiasm control having been turned to high for quite a while in that the hummingbird on the pickguard is about wore off. This a great sign in my book, shows for a fact that all those hundreds of playing hours that make some older guitars sound so great sure did happen here and you can hear it when you play it; that unique “only older Gibsons got it" tone just jumps right up at you, says “YES!!”. Overall cosmetics also say “been around since the ‘60s”, got that patina and crackelure in the finish that only true age can bring. Better yet is that this entire guitar is 100% solid, never a crack nor a repair ever needed. And the even better news is that it plays like a dream, having just been totally gone over and set up for cool right here in our own shop. Returns

All purchases made from this website - as well as any made via phone orders - are granted a 24-hour approval period. If you decide not to keep the merchandise you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. When we receive the item back in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase less original shipping cost outbound.
