Holy cow!!! I’ve seen and had many of these 1950s Gibson J-45s over the years but few have ever come right up to the "Dang I’m in love!” heart-throbbing of this one. To me from the family of its original owner, whom I knew for many, many years. Lived his entire life out in the country, bought it new, played it every day at home and on gigs until passing away a few years ago. We have gone over this wonderful 1950s Gibson J-45 throughly and addressed all the things that happen to older Gibson acoustics over time and it is now 100% plus. Everything tight everywhere, action height perfect, frets dressed nicely with almost no wear showing and only in the first position. This is the early adjustable bridge version with ceramic saddle and slightly larger height adjustment screw heads; original Kluson tuners still with clean, original(!) buttons; even looks like original bridge pins too. Expected cool finish checking on the top, elsewhere as appropriate, and no cracks anywhere, ever. Some nicks and dings here and there, a few capo marks on the back of the neck, but you can tell right away that its owner truly loved it and cared for it well. But of course the best part: run your flatpick over the strings and the sound fairly EXPLODES out of it. This is the one you played somewhere, years and years ago, and just wished you could own but of course it was not for sale. Original Gibson brown hard shell case, showing wear, handle down to metal, case obviously took it so that the guitar would not. Oh, and there's a terrific-sounding pickup in it, unobtrusive little microphone on a stalk, separate active pre-amp goes inline to the amp. All cables included. You will not find another love-of-your-life Gibson J-45 like this anywhere. $6995 w/ohsc

If you decide not to keep the merchandise you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. When we receive the item back in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase less original shipping cost outbound.
