Guild M-75 1955
Guild M-75 1955
A totally unique and fabulous (and rare) electric guitar from the earliest days of Guild, when they were still owned by the original founders and still in their original location in Hoboken, New Jersey. With its hollow Les Paul-shaped (though a wee bit larger) light-weight body being mahogany with a spruce top, it's got a sound like no other before or since. In real nice original shape with original frets in barely-played condition, all of its gold-plated (!) hardware intact including original gold-plated Kluson tuners, and its hot-hot single coil pickups it's one heck of a barn burner. Guild's alternative name for this model was the “Aristocrat”; how right they were! Comes with a perfectly fitted Ess & Ess hard shell case, possibly from the 1960s. $3995 w/hsc
