This is the bestest, finest, my favoritest, pre-war 12-fret Martin 0-18 I've ever had or seen, bar none, and I’ve seen quite a few. Aside from all the “no cracks no repairs no nuthin never done nor needed” stuff that we all love to hear, it is just plain wonderful and fabulous to sit down with and play. Originally from the factory with gut strings, as all Martins were prior to 1934, it is so happy with a D’Addario Custom Light Gauge .011-.052 bronze set (though no heavier than that please) and its tone and volume and clarity just sparkle in every way. Lovely checking overall of its original varnish finish and some playing wear in the expected places after nearly a hundred years just bolster its charm. Original ebony nut, fingerboard and bridge; original ivory saddle (uncut!), original tuners too. Wee bit of fret work and setup work done right here by us, all adds up to you won’t want to ever let this one go. Comes with modern hard shell case. $6995 w/hsc

Returns

All purchases made from this website - as well as any made via phone orders - are granted a 24-hour approval period. If you decide not to keep the merchandise you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. When we receive the item back in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase less original shipping cost outbound.
