Pete Seeger, hero to us all! This baritone guitar, like the one Pete tuned to Bb, can also be tuned in the standard E-E fashion, which is how we have it set up with a D’Addario EJ-38 .010-.047 set, what most folks would prefer. A full instruction sheet is also included for stringing like Pete did. In gorgeous unplayed condition, bought new and put away over twelve years ago, it is as fine as this ever gets. It has the straightest-grain East Indian rosewood back and sides and an ultra-finely grained Sitka spruce top, with traditional Martin herringbone top trim. The triangular soundhole with matching pickguards are all Pete, all the way, just like what he had on the 12-string guitar he played back in the 1950s and ‘60s, and the pearl peghead inlay of a Seeger-style long neck banjo along with Pete's signature in pearl are fabulous touches. The interior label with its #10 of 20 hand-written on it and the signatures of Pete and CF Martin IV (these are genuine signatures, not machine-printed copies), is the crowning touch. All gone over and set up by us right here in our own shop and all ready for its next balladeer. $3995 w/ohsc

Returns

All purchases made from this website - as well as any made via phone orders - are granted a 24-hour approval period. If you decide not to keep the merchandise you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. When we receive the item back in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase less original shipping cost outbound.
