Guild JF30-12 1993

The traditional “Big Blonde” of Guild 12-string guitars, without the unnecessary glitz. Back in the 1960s the Guild people set the standard for 12-string guitars and no one has ever quite caught up with them for style, grace, and just plain cool. Their big maple-bodied models always led the pack with a few versions being offered, the JF30-12 being the most cosmetically economical but still with all of that fabulous only-a-Guild-has-it tone and volume. Flamed maple back and sides are a must for the Guild oeuvre, with a solid Sitka spruce top, triple-laminated mahogany neck, and solid Madagascar ebony fingerboard and bridge. A full set of gold-plated Mini Grover Rotomatic tuning machines completes the picture and a gold-plated Schaller Strap Lock has been added at the heel of the neck, right where you want it

This JF30-12 was made here in Westerly, Rhode Island, USA, where Guild had its longest run in one city. We like to think of this time period as Guild’s best years. And now for the even better news: it's in fantastic all-original condition, neat and clean as can be. All gone over here in our own shop by us, like every instrument we offer, and playing like a champ. They just don't come any finer. Has its original hard shell case. $1595 w/ohsc
